ALL ABOUT FLOURISH PEDIATRIC THERAPY AND LACTATION, LLC

I am a pediatric occupational therapist and lactation counselor, specializing in the treatment of infants and toddlers.  I have extensive experience with feeding disorders, tongue and lip ties, torticollis, plagiocephaly, neurological disorders, and general developmental delay. My background as a feeding therapist coupled with my additional training in lactation gives me a very unique skill set.

My mission and calling as a therapist and lactation specialist is to help families achieve their feeding goals and to help babies and toddlers achieve their greatest potential.

If you want to breastfeed your baby and are struggling, I think you deserve a fair shot at succeeding.

You deserve skilled support on your journey to feed your baby as you choose.  Support to give you all of your options, so you can find a solution that works well for you, your baby, and your family.

If you need help, I want you to be able to find answers quickly.  If I can't provide all of the answers, I want to help you find the providers who can, which is why I value a team approach to client care.

If your child is struggling with motor development, play, or you have concerns that something is just not quite right....being proactive is important.  You may lose valuable time if you "wait and see."  Early therapy can make a difference!

It brings me joy to empower families with tools and strategies to work with their children to help them progress….therapy is a collaborative effort.  You know your child best.  Together, we can come up with a plan that works for you.

Jeanne was truly an answer to our prayers for our little boy. He was diagnosed with a tongue tie shortly after birth that immediately had ita negative impact on our breastfeeding. Having nursed his older brother for 15 months, I was devastated at the thought of not being able to do the same with him. After 2 tongue tie revisions and therapy with Jeanne, I am elated to say that our sweet boy is completely healed and nursing like a champ! Thank you, Jeanne, for your patience and diligence when we needed it most. Being able to nurse my son is one of the most rewarding aspects of motherhood for me. Thank you for helping to make it happen!  -Margo, mom of Thomas

Jeanne is wonderful. She got us in quickly and created an individualized plan for my son. She addressed all of our concerns and got us the resources we needed to improve our feeding difficulties. She was always easy to get in touch with. All of our feeding issues have been resolved because of Jeanne and we could not be more pleased. We would recommend her to anyone struggling to feed their child!  -Elizabeth, mom of Rowan

ABOUT ME

Jeanne Pichoff, LOTR, CLT, CLC

I have been a pediatric therapist for 15 years.  I fell in love with working in early intervention as a new graduate, and have worked in various settings including the NICU, hospital, and outpatient clinics.  I am married to my high school sweetheart, Dexter, and we have two rambunctious boys, Blaise and Ilan.  Ilan’s birth changed my life and career, as he was born with tongue and lip ties and I experienced major breastfeeding difficulties.  My experience with him lit a fire in me to learn more about tongue/lip ties and breastfeeding to give me the skills to help nursing mothers.  I got my CLC (certified lactation counselor) credential in 2018, and I am nearly finished with the requirements to sit for the exam to become an IBCLC, or board certified lactation consultant.  I am on the Board of Directors for the Acadiana Breastfeeding Coalition.
